AUSSIE BBQ CHOOK
One of my favourite dishes that provides a healthy alternate to using oil to get a crispy skin. Recipes don't come much easier than this.
- Take 1 x whole chook
- Lather the skin with Vegemite (accept no substitutes e.g. Marmite)
- Cook at 200 degrees celcius for 1.5 hours or butterfly the chook and stick straight on BBQ until cooked through
- Add veges or salad
- Use leftover for sandwiches next day
It may sound a little disgusting but trust me it tastes delicious.
